Our Story

One of the primary barriers to entrepreneurship in the Dallas-Fort Worth region is access to capital. Many aspiring business owners, especially those from low-income or minority communities, struggle to secure the financing they need to get their ideas off the ground. To address this issue, Haven has partnered with local financial institutions and community development financial institutions (CDFIs) to create targeted loan programs that provide affordable, flexible financing options for small business owners. By helping entrepreneurs access the capital they need to start and grow their businesses, Haven is fostering economic development and job creation in the communities that need it most.

Your Community

Haven also understands that entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business, but also about building a strong and supportive community around it. To that end, Haven has created a network of entrepreneurs, mentors, and community partners who share a commitment to fostering innovation and economic opportunity in the region. Through regular events, workshops, and networking opportunities, Haven is helping to connect entrepreneurs with the resources and relationships they need to thrive, while also building a sense of solidarity and mutual support among business owners from diverse backgrounds.
